Mid-Autumn Day Holiday!
We would like to make everyone aware of a Holiday that is coming up in China called the Mid-Autumn Day! Most factories and offices will be closed on Monday September 12 and reopen the following day.

Did you know that the tooling that is made overseas can cost anywhere from 30 – 70% less than tooling produced in the US? Did you know that UGS can provide you with tooling that is made overseas? The same quality and design specifications that we put into production and manufacturing we also can provide in manufacturing tooling. What types of tools can we provide? We can make tooling for injection molded plastics, tooling for stampings, tooling for forgings, die cast tooling, sand cast tooling, investment cast tooling, and basically any type of tooling that you may need!
We will quote the tooling delivered to your door which means that we will take care of the logistics in getting the tools to you. We will crate the tooling and make sure that it doesn’t get damaged providing you with worry free satisfaction. We will also provide first run samples from the tools for approval before the tools are shipped. What does this mean for you? We give you very competitive off-shore pricing on all tools and we will guarantee that you will be completely satisfied with your tool.
What do we need to get started? Just a few simple questions, do you have 2D and 3D drawings for your tool? What size is the machine that you need the tool for (capacity, tonnage)? What is the item that the tool will make? What is the material that the tool will be forming? What is the maximum size the tool can be? What is the life expectancy or how many shots do you expect to get from your tool? If you can provide this information we will quote you on your tool. This is just another way in which UGS can help you. We are the manufacturer’s importer!

Well it is that time of year again… that time where we get a couple of weeks off from exhibiting or attending shows. Not that we are complaining because we actually like attending and exhibiting at shows but it is nice to have a small break.
In the meantime we thought we would attached a picture of Dave G. working hard at the Amcon Minneapolis show just in case you wanted to see what the booth looks like and to see what we do at the shows.

We would like to congratulate Dave Gentit (Business Development Manager) for placing first in his age division at the Firecracker 5K run that took place in Corunna, MI over the fourth or July holiday. The run was sponsored by the Corunna Village council and the funds raised were donated to the village for building of new park facilities. There were a total of 171 runners and Dave placed 17th overall. What a great Job Dave and thank you for participating in an event to help build new park facilities.
AmCon Show Boston, MA
We are excited to announce that we will be exhibiting for the first time this week in Boston, MA at the AmCon show.The show is located at the Aleppo Shriners Auditorium and our booth number is 127. We would love to meet with you face-to-face to discuss how we can help you with your overseas manufacturing. The show opens up on Tuesday June 21 from 9:30am to 3:30pm and runs till Wednesday June 22, 3:00pm.
